They looked pretty sad against Buffalo. Think they will beat the jets Thursday? After all they haven't won nothing since spy-gate.

I'm no Patriots fan. I can't stand them, in fact.

But, "won nothing since spy-gate?" Post spy-gate, they've been a playoff team every year except 2009 and went to 2 more Super Bowls. Yes, they lost both, but I'd hardly call making it to the SB as "won nothing." That's more than 25 other teams can say.

No one remembers second place most times they want forget - just ask the Denver Broncos in their first three SB's.

Yeah, we all know the "second place is the first loser" rule, but you seemed to be implying that they've sucked since spy-gate. 80% of the rest of the league would love to have their W-L record and 2 trips to the SB during the same period.

For the record, I hope they suck pond water for the rest of their franchise history... but as long as they have Brady and Belichick, I don't see that happening.

What are you talking about??? Buffalo lost 4 times in a row... but no team has ever made the Super Bowl 4 times in a row that I can remember other than them. That in itself is truly amazing. If Scott Norwood made the field goal their first appearance everything may have changed.

BTW,
Bronco's lost 4 before they finally won.

I think Spygate was before the 2007 season began but didn't they come up one game shy of an undefeated record for that same season, yes losing the last one at the SB.

To tell you the truth as far QBs go I have always liked Brady ever since being backup for Brian Griese in Michigan and the overrated Drew Bledsoe him being a better overall team player than both easily.

I guess my animosity towards the northeast in general is due to it being the bastion of the progressive wackiness - I wish Canada would adopt the whole northeast.
