The CZ 452 i ordered finally came in today.  Bought it just to do a little plinking and squirrel hunting, but it's almost too pretty to hunt with.

You hit the jackpot on the wood! That's a great choice for a rimfire, too.

I have one in a .17 mach 2, but your wood looks better than mine.  Nice rifle.  I have not shot mine yet, but can't wait, along with a bunch of other rifles.

That is a beautiful stock,  and I don't mean only the fiddleback grain pattern. It has great, classic lines, too!  Kind of hard to tell from the pic how well the checkering has been cut, but the pattern is pretty nice.

Couple more pics with the scope on.  It's a monarch 2-7x32 and warne maxima rings.  I wish I could have mounted it lower, but the bolt just cears as it is.

They arent the prettiest thing, but I alredady had them.  I was thinking of switching them out for some burris sig. zee rings.  Scope choice was somewhat limited since I wanted something small and gloss.  I was going to go with a leupold compact, but I found the monarch for $185 new.

Nice looking rifle, chavist93!  While not usually quite as pretty as yours, I've seen quite a few CZ 452's with above average wood for the price of the rifle.  That's one of the reasons why I think the CZ rimfires are such a good value.
