I saw something on the net about Bushnell coming out with two "new" Elite lines, the 3500 and 4500 ? What the scoop SWFA ? ? ?

If true I wonder if they will add some eye relief this time?

I spoke with someone at Bushnell two days ago and inquired about my favorite model, the 2.5-10x40 and the specs were still indicating 3.3 inches. If they went to no less than 3.5" and preferably 3.75" it would be the best all around scope money could buy at that price point. That is, without a doubt, the biggest complaint I hear about Elites. Otherwise, it has all the whistles and bells you could ever hope for with it's size, weight, magnification range, durability and optical performance. As it stands, it's still a great scope for rifles chambered in the 30/06/270/280 range and below, but it's too close for comfort with ultra light rifles in that recoil range and for a lot of magnum chambering's as well.

Are they going to bring back the #4 reticle in the higher magnification ranges?

Don't know that, but all the specs/models are on their website.

Is that the current Elite or the "rumored to be" scopes?

I agree.  SWFA has the Elite 3-9x40 for $200.  If that scope had a forgiving eye relief around 3.75"-4" it would be hard to beat.
