Have you guys seen the new BAR with the oil finish stock.  That is a really nice looking gun

I agree it is nice-looking overall.  I do like the oil finished wood, and it looks like maybe they upgraded the wood quality as well.  But, I wish Browning would dispense with the strange art nouveau design features on their stocks that have no functional purpose, such as the deeply undercut radius behind the grip cap of the BAR pictured below, the odd zig-zag shadow-line behind the grip of the X-Bolt, etc.  I also wish Browning would lose their signature gold-colored triggers.  To me, it looks as gaudy as a gold tooth.

I like the older style Browning BAR prior to the long/short trac series ..guess I m getting "old fashioned" 
 
 
this would work too ..but a bit tough to haul around
