I know you said you would let it go at $800. but I just can't do that, how about $900.????
You will get a new HD and the SS HD Advanced Shooters Kit (flip-ups, sun shade, ARD and Mil-Dot Master) (even trade) for your Mark 4.

Im wondering who the contract went to? I've seen it posted a couple of times and was wondering just who's using these. I'm sending a check out tomarrow for my 10xHD. I've been back and forth, up and down on what to get and it seems to come back to the HD. Pretty jazzed to look through one of these bad boys.
Eman out.

Well I received my new 10HD scope and accessories last Friday and got my new Burris XTR low rings in today. She's mounted up and ready to go. Even got my ammo ballistic sheet cut out and mounted in my Butler creek eye cap. This scope is awesome. The glass is the same or better than the Mark 4 I traded in, very clear and crisp all the way to the edges. No problem at low light either. The turrets knobs feel great and not mushy. I'm going to sight her in this weekend if the weather permits, can't wait. I know (Kickboxer) Patience is learned, not granted...I get it. Also want to say the Mil-dot master is one great tool to have. I've read it and played with the scale over and over. Just want to say also to Chris Farris for helping me get this scope. Most people would of said "Oh well" Sorry about your luck, But not Chris he stood up and made things right. Oh yeah Chris. The last time I talked to you on the phone about a different scope, well just let me say I'm glad you talked me out of it, you were right. Thanks again for your help. Your business is #1. Keep up the good work. Chris H

I had my two 3-9x42 Super Snipers and my 10x HD Super Sniper on the range yesterday and the 10x would easily resolve bullet holes that the 3-9 would almost make out. The 10 x knobs are larger and it really is a very impressive optic. Stephanie were are you I need another SS.

What distance and what cal bullets? I am thinking that I am very glad I did not purchase the IOR 10x56 for my 50 cal.

I would be too. That is supposedly one of the most failure prone IOR scopes. |

Well went to sight in the new scope today. I have a question. I'm sighting in at a 100yrds. I bore sighted it and got it on target. I need to move 3" up and 1" to the left. Well being used to 1/4 moa scopes I know this won't work. There are 10 clicks in 1 mil. What does 1 click equal in inches. I looked at my mildot master slide and if I'm right does 1 mil equal 3.5 inches. Sorry but I'm new to the mildot world and this is my first mildot scope. Just trying to figure out what 0.1 or 1 click = in inches.

Just center your crosshairs on the center of the target where your point of aim was. Look how far on the mildot reticle it is low and right. Sounds like it is about 1 mil low and .3 mils right. Then move your adjustments on your dials 1 mil up and .3 mils left. THat is the beauty of the mil/mil based system, you can check your error with the reticle and dial it right in and be right on with the next shot.
1/10 mil is about 1/3 MOA just for the reference. |

Thanks supertool. I feel like a bumbass for asking this question but wasn't sure. I found a link that Chris Farris had put in a forum Using a scope with mil turrets and mil reticle
Using a Mil Based Scope - Easy Transition. After reading this now I know. Just read the dots. If the shot looks to be 1.5 mils low, then turn the turret 15 clicks up. Very simple. Well now it is. Thanks again. |
