I can't recall ever seeing this much snow in Dallas.

I'm leaving early so I can take my kids outside to make a snowman and play in the snow.  They might be teenagers before we see this again.

It's not really snow events that cause mass carnage on the roads, its ice events which are much different.

+1

I'd rather drive in a snow storm up in the Sierras (which I did last weekend) than a Texas ice storm. Hope that Texas weather clears up by Saturday.....

Weather is amazing stuff.  What is cataclysmic is hardly worth mentioning somewhere else.  Don't get high centered CFII.

His truck sits lower than that, it couldn't go all the way down because of the snow, lol.

The news guy just said that this was the snowiest day EVAR!, or at least since 1880 when they started keeping records.  DFW airport is where they officially measure it and they are at least 5 inches behind us out in the sticks.  They are measuring about 8 inches right now and we're over a foot.  Shocked  All of the schools are closed and we might be too.
