Excellent,

Sounds like a very impressive ranch. Those deer are top-end Texas deer for sure.

I may have to look into Texas mulies myself.

You gotta wait 'til we get some rain.  Last year was a brutal hunt.  One gagger at pre dawn on first day @ 435.  He walked over a sandhill and we never saw him again.  Probably a 210" type deer.  That's the only shooter we saw in 9 days.

I'm not sure of your question.  He shoots a 7STW w/Leupy 4.5-14x40 CDS.

Many ranch owners artificially inseminate deer to enhance rack size.  SOuth Texas deer are very large, but 200+-class deer are not common.

It is a big political issue down there, I'm just asking.

I have seen some unbeleivable 180+ deer, but have not seen a 200+ class that was not "AI."

Sorry, missed the "mule" in the deer. I hunt Sonora and was thinking white tail - and they don't get to 200+ without "help."

Lots to hunt in that area.
