I have a Bushnell Trophy 4-12 X 40mm scope that I have been using on a pre-filled pneumatic air rifle. It has a tendency to lose it zero every year or so, which results in the rifle hitting about one-half inch to the right at 50 feet. Bushnell has told me that this is normal for this scope, and that they recommend that I check the zero on the scope every 6 months or so. Has anyone else heard of a scope manufacturer admitting that their scopes loose zero on a regular basis, and that the scopes will need to have their zeros checked an reset?

Thanks

Rummels
