I have a Taurus model 425 in 41 mag.  It is not drilled and tapped and does not have a vent rib.  Is there anyone out there that makes a laser sight for it as im pretty sure a scope if out of the question?  I checked crimson trace and they dont show it.  I've searched and googled and searched and googled and just cant find anything.  Please help me if you know anything that may work.

Jack Weigand has scope mounts for your Taurus. You will need to have it drilled and tapped if you have a gunsmith.
Can't help with the laser. Is this for hunting?

It is definately a gunsmith job to mount a scope. I would say look at the Burris 1x and 2x low power scopes tend to be more user friendly with a handgun.

If you choose conventional optics, the Leupold 2x is a solid choice, also. I have both the Burris and the Leupold. Both are clear and solid as a rock.
