Welcome to OpticsTalk.

That's a little over three miles. Is this for observation purposes or are you trying to isolate on something in particular?

Celestron Skymaster binoculars are entry level binoculars not known for their overall quality.

You could always test drive the Pentax 20x60 PCF WP II & see if it satisfies your needs, somewhat.
If not, you will more than likely need a good spotting scope.
For 20x & higher you will need either a monopod or a tripod with a stiff metal binocular adapter. $$$

("Celestron Skymaster binoculars are entry level binoculars not known for their overall quality".)

Overall, most definitely; many Celestron SkyMaster Porro prism binoculars are delivered to consumers with collimation problems & Quality Control issues.

You really can't expect very much in a 25x70 binocular costing ony $70. Thumbs Down

Compare the price of the Celestron 25x to the price of the Steiner 25x.
