I just purchased a Blaser R93, that came with a .308 barrel that has a Swaro PH 30mm, 2.5-10, and also a .300WSM barrel with a 30mm mount that needs a scope. I don't want to spend $1500+ for another Swaro. Can I have some reccomendations on a 30mm 3-9, 2.5-10 for under $1000.

There are a lot of fine choices.
I would take a good look at IOR Hunting 2.5-10x42 with either 4a reticle or illuminated dot 4a reticle. Another good choice is Meopta Meostar 3-10x50 with #4 reticle. ILya |

Or you could pay $299 for a 10x Super Sniper and walk away with a big smile and money for ammo. I know it would look out of place but it would work SOOOOO GOOOOOD. I do have a 30mm Leupold 4.5-14 x50 on one of my hunting rifles that I like very much. |

The SS would look REAL silly, the Blaser is a short rifle. I'd like to own one though. Kinda leaning tword the Nikon Monarch Gold 2.5-10x50 for $650.

Bothe Elite 4200 and Monarch Gold are good scopes. IOR and Meopta do have the edge in glass though.
Monarch Gold has the longest eye relief of the bunch, if that is an issue. ILya |

i would opt for the monarch gold for eye relief unless that is a heavy gun, then you could get away with the IOR or Meostar.........
