Hi Shootergirl,

Looks like a Schmidt Bender fixed power?

You have nice taste and your shooting is impressive.

Chris

Very nice! it looks as though you might be able to teach some of these old dogs how to shoot. Please elaborate, do you have any formal training?

No formal training.  I have been shooting my entire life though.  My dad was in the 82nd Airborne and he taught me how to shoot when I was young.  I don't reload, so I shoot Federal Match ammo.  That was my first group through this gun and they were 175 matchkings.

Some factory ammo is exellent, as is apparent in your fine show of accuracy. In this case it might not be worthwhile to handload. Some accuracy freaks neck turn their brass, but you usually don't see a big increase unless you have a custom tight chamber, and are using redding adjustable neck sizing bushings. You on the other hand could throw almost any ammo and get spactacular results. Please don't let me be in your crosshairs. Bravo!
