I have several rifles that are scopeless.  I will give what each rifle is, intentions, and price limit.

1.  Ruger M77 300 WM.  This is basically just a hunting rifle, and for the most part a back up since I have others as my go to.  Shots would range from 50 to 400 yards.  I have in the past taken it to 700, but have no intentions of doing that again.  Price range $500 to $1500, preferably under $1000.

2.  AR-15 built myself.  It is a 1-7 twist, so I will probably run the heavier bullets for more precision, prairie dogs, and coyotes.  Ranges on yotes and dogs to 500 and paper further for fun.  Price range $1000

3.  Rem 700 22-250 - I am intending to rebarrel this to handle bullets up to 85-90 grains.  I really want to play around at 1000 yards with this rifle.  I have alot of different ideas for this rifle, and some of them involve using the heavier bullets.  Coyotes, dogs, hogs, antelope, deer, etc.  I am not going to put a price limit on this scope.

4.  Ruger 10/22 - This is a takedown model with a timney trigger and a tactical solutions barrel set up for my suppressor and to keep a shorter overall length.  Now, I know this seems like the usual scope suggestion for a 22, but lets throw in a twist.  There is a place that is about 2 1/2 hours from me that does a shoot every month for 22 LR.  The range goes out to 400 yards, so I would like a scope that can handle that.  Price range under $1000

I know the questions that normally come.  What features?  My preferences are FFP with MIL/MIL adjustments.  That being said, I am looking for all kinds of ideas and thoughts on these.

And discuss!

1) Kahles KXi 3.5-10x50
2) SWFA SS 3-15x42
3) You did not mention the price range for this one, but I assume $1k or so.  Burris XTR II 4-20x50
4) This will take a lot of adjustment.  Vortex PST 2.5-10x32 is worth a look.  I just started testing Burris XTR II 2-10x42 and I like it so far.  It would also work well.

ILya's suggestions are excellent.

Take a look at the Meopta Meostar R1 3-12x56 for hunting.  It is a "true value" scope.  Just a thing to think about.

Is a 22-250 a 1,000-yard caliber?

A nosler 80 gr hpbt is listed with a bc of .415 and can be pushed to 3000 fps. This would give it a drop of about 312 inches at 1000 yards from a 100 yard zero and velocity around 12-1300 fps.

I have a 22-250 with the barrel more or less on its last legs, so I consider buying a fast twist 22-250 barrel.

It has a detrimental effect on barrel life, but is a very competent long range cartridge.

If memory serves me right, Berger makes a crazy 90gr 0.224 bullet that can be pushed out of an appropriately long fast twist 22-250 barrel at around 3000gr fps.

I think it drops about 7 - 7.5mrad at 1000 yards with 10mph drift of right around 2 mrad.

I think barrel life will not be great and the twist will have to be 1 in 7", but it is supersonic out to about 1400 yards if you are not at sea level.

I am not yet done with my evaluation of XTR II scopes, but at first blush they are looking like very competent designs with a nice feature set.

Turret feel is good.  Optics look pretty good.  Illumination is well worked out.

I think Burris did their homework with this one.
