I've built a ar15 with a 26inch kreiger barrel chambered in 223 match.

I'm looking at scopes and considering a Sightron, Mueller and honestly a bunch of others.

Could use some advice on brands, powers and illuminated rec's.

I'll be using it mostly for prairie dogs and paper, ranges 75-500 yds.

Thansk in advance for the input.

SIGHTRON BIG SKY!! Thunbs Up  If you don't want to fork over the extra dough for the Big Sky, then the regular SII is a good scope too.  As for repeatability in tracking, I'll take it over the others you listed anyday.

Well I jumped off the cliff and bought a Sightron SIII 6-24 x 50 today and plan on mounting it with a burris PEPR mount i just bought from SWFA.  I'll let you know how it turns out.

Nice Choice!  Be sure to post pics of your rig when you get the scope mounted.  Excellent
