Does is matter what side the nut that holds the rings to the base is on?  I'm putting warne rings on a warne base and was just woundering if it mattered.

I typically put the tightening nuts on the side opposite of the rifles ejection port.

Thats the way I was leaning, just makes sense.  Then I looked at the Warne web site gallery at they all seemed to be on the ejection side.  So I just wanted to make sure it didn't matter.
