Hello, I need some advice or actually I was hoping for a some outstanding recomendations. I have a Zeiss Diavari C 3-9x36 MC and a Sako 85 Finnlight in .308Win.  I wanted a good recomendation for some bases and rings the would work and that are Low. I want it to be as low as it can. I think the scope is a 1'' tube as well.  I guess I am not looking to blow more than 100$ on these either, infact the less the better as long as they're quality.

I use Warnes on my Tikkas and Sakos.... no prioblems
but Warnes doesn't make a low, might have to go with Leupolds

in the Brownells catalog it lists the real measurements of all the rings they carry in a nice chart
a quick look and I couldn't find it on their site but came across this
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/GunTech/CheatSheet.aspx?p=0&t=1&i=571

might check with Talley as well
I would think adding a base and then twist in rings would be taller than just using the factory dovetails.. I have the same gun as you but in 270 and use Warnes

Check Conetrols. Even their medium rings are pretty low. I put mediums on a Sako 75 with a Swaro AV 3-9 X 36 and, heightwise, it was about perfect. They are a bit over $100 though.

Sako makes an ultra-low opti-lock but I do not know how low that really is . Mine has the low rings and it works with a 56mm scope !

Talley has a base with integral rings (very nice setup, what I use on Tikka) but it isn't especially low.

The lowest warne or talley should work fine.
