Hi guys.
I've got a CZ452 .22LR. I had it's original iron sights removed as I like a low mounted scope. But now I want to shoot my rifle in two classes, scoped and un-scoped.
Will I be able to get iron sights that I can install on the barrel itself?
Secondly, do you get quick release dovetail mounts? This is because I will have to remove the scope when shooting with the iron sights. To buy a second rifle is out of the question because of possible license difficulties in my country.
Any other suggestions?

Which model do you have? The 452 "Trainer"? I have 2 Trainers. One in .22LR and the other in .17HMR.

I went with these sights. Way better then the factory irons. EASY to install too.

I have the Warne medium Rimfire mounts and a Minox scope. Works well, but not a QD rig.
Honestly, I wouldn't get to worried about a QD ring set up. The Warnes or Talley Rimfires are 2 torx head screws and they are off.

I have the Tech-Sights on my .22LR and not on the .17 pictured above.

Check out Rimfire Central's CZ forum for more intel.

Thanks for the reply. The notification mail was in my spam folderBig Grin
I think the Tech sights will work perfectly. I just never used peep sights before, only normal open sights, but I'm prepared to learn. I agree to remove the scope held by only two screws are not a lot of effort. However the reason for me wanting quick release mounts is that I think your gun will retain it's zero better when you mount the scope again. Is this a true statement?
I do want my zero not to change or change just the absolute minimum.
