These photos were taken 300 yards from one of our employees houses, at his neighbors. Don't know what it is but I sure know what it looks like.

Mountain lion to my eyes, unless the perspective is all out of whack.  I've only ever seen one in the wild.  It jumped a high game fence in front of my pickup while I was on the way to my hunting camp in Eastland County.  It looked like those pictures.  Very impressive creatures.

One thing is certain. It isn't a mtn lion. Mtn lions have much longer legs and tails relative to their bodies.

It kind of looks spotted in those pics, but the body and tail look like a jaguarundi.

It could just be a kitty cat too.

In the 1st pic, the head looks more in proportion of a domestic cat... the rest kinda does, too.

We were questioning what it is. I don't know what else we have that could be that size other than mountain lions. My friend Brian whose house it happened at found some tracks yesterday evening that were about 3-4" in diamater. The neighbors 15lb dog also dissapeared. I am starting to think more and more it is a mountian lion.

Sounds like you've probably answered the question.
Might sit out with a bag of cat chow and some steaks and see what shows up... bring lots of coffee.

Did he manage to take  decent picture of the tracks?  If the imprint of the paw is half way reasonable you can more or less figure out what it is.

It does sounds like a mountain lion, but the body proportions are a bit off.  Could be a young mountain lion.
