Hello,

I have a Savage 110FP Tactical with Heavy barrel pre-Accu Trigger and was wondering if the Leatherwood

Tactical Max-Tac 1 Piece Base item #SM110L would work?  I have the flat rear mount area and was told via email by the Leatherwood

rep that the base will work as it comes with an adapter to work on both round and flat rear recievers.

ETA I found the info in the sticky post at the top of the forum for the Leatherwood mount.....any idea if  the rings below will work???

Also, it says it works with Weaver rings, but will it work with any other tactical rings like the Burris Xtreme or

the Leupolds that are designed for Picatinny rails?

Please advise!

From what I can see the Leatherwood says Picatinny Base, but I don't know for sure..  Chris would know...

Most tactical rings have weaver mounts.

Tps offers Picatinny crossbolts, but I know for sure that Leupolds are Weaver in there tactical rings.
