Has anyone experience with motion sensors for hunting - what to buy and where?  Ive seen some on Ebay selling for 50$, not sure if they are any good or.....  Id want something that senses small animals like rats and foxes.

What ya think?

The one that I saw was basically a driveway monitor in a green box.  It would give an alert on a radio freq. ( ie. "alert zone one").

I don't know how they would do on a small animal, but I'm sure a fox would set it off...I'd say the smaller the animal, the closer it needs to be to the box to set it off.

I haven't seen them for sale in a while...

Hope that helps.

Yeah, I think its a simple equipment. As long as it works its ok. But the downside to this is that if you count on it and fall asleep you wont catch anything if the batteries are dead. Im also having a second thought about the sportmanship of hunting this way. Still, its something Id like to hear more about if anyone has experience.
