If you were buying any Sawrovski scope which scope would you go with. Which line of scopes, which power, which reticle, etc.

Need a decent amount of feedback on this post please guys.

To me the "A" line is the most interesting, due mainly to pricing its the only one that makes sense with my budget.  What I'd like to see in the "A" line is power settings simular to the Z6 line ie: 1.7-10,  I am happy with the existing reticle selection. Possibly add some type of Rain guard.

I like two; PH 2.5-10x42 and the Z6 1.7-10x42 both with 4 or 7A reticle.

The 3.5-10 X 42 A line also tops my list. It's "relatively" affordable and does the job it's intended for superbly. Mine has the "older" TDS which I like.

A-line 3-9x36 with plex.  I would really like this in a rimfire set-up as well.

Something like the P6 1.5-6x42 PVI-2 illuminated circle dot but in their lower price/quality range

z6 2-12x50

It's an awesome all around scope that does everything, close up shots, far away shots, great FOV, clarity, very good in low light situations, etc., etc.

I been using mine for two years now and just got another one off the "sample list" Both have 4a reticles. 2x is great when breaking brush and close up shooting, 12x being just a little more magnification than 10x for the long shots found where we live. My first one came with a plex reticle that I really liked but I changed to a 4a. I love the 4a for low light and quick shooting but sometimes miss the thin plex for long precision shots. I may change one of the rectiles back to plex.

PH Series 3-12X50 on a tote around rifle or a 2.5-10X56 on a deer stand rifle. I want to like the Z-6 but the plex reticle is too thin for low light hunting.

As I said before I like the "A" line, but I think it needs some updating.

I'd like to see a 4x zoom range, more eye relief and some type of rain guard.

Have 2 PH 2.5-10x42s and one 6x42.  Have to say that the first focal plane works great for me and the 4a reticles are hard to beat.  Good short range FOV and yet, I can reach out with 10x.

My 0.02...  I wish the 1.5-6x42s illuminated models had smaller dot in the center for longer range shooting...

+1, but I would honestly take any of the ones mentioned.  I really like the mag range on the 2-12.  Very verstile and would match great to my 300 WM.
