Beautiful Bull, add that to the bucket list.

Great video.  Reminds me of one I watched many years ago with Fred Bear shooting a Kodiak in Alaska in the 60's from almost the same range.

  GOOD stuff!

I have a video,Elk Fever maybe(?),where Larry D. Jones' son actually had to lean back away from a elk which had approached perpendicular to him in order to release his arrow.  Less than 3ft I believe he said.

A Kodiak at that range would take a titanium spine!

Excellent video Matt.

That's the one Earl.  I have in on a Beta tape that I bought at the Fred Bear museum when it was in Gainsborough.  Fred had that bear in a full mount just inside the entrance.  That was one big bruin.  Impressive kill using his Razorhead.  Also impressive him holding at full draw for what must have seemed like an eternity - no 75% letoff on that bow.

I was teatering on rather to go hunting or not on opening day. After watching that video I decided not to. That moose looked, moved and acted so much like my oldest dog (a moose in his own right) that I just decided to go shooting instead. Which worked out, because the weather here has sucked for hunting.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.
