First post....this is a great site

I am in the market for a new scope for my ruger 270. I have narrowed it down to nikon monarch 3.5x10-50 bushnell elite 4200 2.5x10-50 and the zeiss conquest 3x9-40. I know the nikons have a great price right now but I would not mind spending a few extra $ to get the better scope. I want to stay under the $400 range. I mostly deer hunt and need good light transmission for early moring or late evening shots. They all have excellent warranties and good eye relief. I must admit the nikon is the only scope I looked thru. I was impressed but it was in the midddle of the day.

Any recommendations?

You probably can't go wrong with any of your choices, although I have never owned a 4200.  I like the Conquests myself so I would probably go that route. But I wouldn't hesitate on the Nikon either as I am also a 50mm type of guy(and the price is right).

Zeiss would be the best overall, but if it were up to me, currently I would get the monarch, because of the closeout at SWFA
