I gotta disagree with Winchester on this one . I was thrilled to see the 94 back in the catalog, but at $1500 OR more   ..that's just wrong .The 94 is a working , everyman's rifle..

I have to agree with that.  I don't mind the high grades, some people need/want them, but they should have brought back the "hunter's rifle", the "woodsman's rifle", the one we "all" grew up with.

scott, winchesters in general are supposed to be the working man's rifle. i wouldnt pay $1500 for m70 unless it was a vintage pre64, and even then it better be in great shape.let alone a model 94. maybe winchester is trying to follow brownings lead or something

There are millions of "real" Model 94s out there.........go buy yourself a pre-64 for $500....
