Looking for a general purpose scope that won't overpower the streamline looks of the lil' Model 60.

Will be used primarily for some plinking / informal paper punching but would also like to squeek out  as much accuracy as possible for the occassional small game hunt.

Thinking along the lines of a 4x but open to any suggestions.

Thanks

Marlin model 60 ?

I think half the world puts Simmons 22 mag 4X's on these,,but the optics are so-so at best. I put a 2x7  Bushnell 3200 Elite on my youngsters and it has worked out just fine. You could also give a Weaver V-series a try, or find a Browning close-out 2x7 for around $130 .

The Weaver is a solid choice in a 4X. It has a reticle that is heavy enough for hunting.
