I dont know if anyone here have experince with the new German made Minox ZE5i 2-10x50 illuminated.

But dont know what to choose between the Minox and the Zeiss Duralyt 3-12x50.

Both illuminated, both got very similair reticles.

Its for my stand hunting rifle in calibre 308.

The Minox is in american dollars 200$ cheaper than the Zeiss. Here in Denmark atleast

I've had better luck with Zeiss personally.  But i don't think either would disappoint.  Zeiss seems to command a better resell value should you ever sell it than Minox just due to the name and history with it.  IT if were me and only $200 more, I'd go Zeiss.

Hi, Renico --

Just curious; how many people in your group are using the "Renico" account for posting here at Optics Talk?

Just curious, Renico. In the duration of time you've been here, you or a combination of people using the Renico account have asked us to compare just about every combination of high end scopes and binos available today at one time or another, with the pretext that you or someone you know is considering buying one or more of the optics being compared. One day you're considering buying either Optic A or Optic B. A few days later, you're considering Optic C or Optic D. Then, it's Optic E and F.

After awhile, it's reasonable for a person who's been paying attention and offering help each time to question what's going on.

Are you doing a survey for some kind of academic work, have lots of friends with large incomes who can afford so many high end optics, or just plain curious? What's the deal? We just like to get to know the regulars here because we're a pretty tight-knit community of friends. All we see is someone named Renico who seemingly asks the same questions over and over and never seems satisfied with the answers he/she receives, and that causes a reasonable person to question why.

It's not that you've done anything wrong; it just seems odd, that's all. Therefore, it makes us wonder if we're actually talking to multiple people using the same account rather than just one person.

Inquiring minds wanna know...

All one has to do is search your post history to see exactly what I'm talking about...

http://www.opticstalk.com/search_results_posts.asp?SearchID=20130712165603&KW=

When you (or a large collective) keep asking the same "A vs. B" questions about an endless combination of optics... after awhile, it makes us think the time we spend answering your questions and participating in your topics is wasted.

I'm sure you can understand why someone would get that impression, can't you?

This is me that created the account and i Can ser your point. i have allowed my brorthers and some friends to ask some questions in here if they have some. I see it Can be complicated if you Think its the same person who asks the questions. Havent really seen what of some of Them has been asking about, so i dont know if some of our questions are similar but it seems so.. I remember to have asked if you could delete This account because of the same..

Don't want to delete the account, Renico. We're happy to have you participate in our group. I would just prefer you use one acct per person so we have a single personality to connect to each user name. Why not have your brothers and friends each open their own accounts?
