Welcome to the forum, Chops1 !
The IOR Valdada is a great scope. Good clarity, and I think it is worth it's value in cost.
I am not familiar with the Minox line, hopefully someone with knowledge will be in soon.

IOR Valdada is playing more for the tactical crowd. It has a reputation for very good glass, but poor reliability.

Minox plays to the hunting crowd, with much lighter/ more compact scopes,  also with very good glass. For hunting purposes, not knowing any more about what you want to do, I would pick Minox between the two. Because their scope lines are fairly new, you may run into a bad copy, but, because their warranty is excellent, I would not worry about it - just send it back if it happens to you.

mainly i hunt open feilds. I do hunt woods some but manly feilds. The scopes will be on 257 weatherby and 300 ultra. Around here hunting pressure is great so big boys dont move till late or early.People have told me about swar. and s&b but im a average guy on a average budget. Got a old monarch and a 4200 now.
