hi guy's Howdyi have a question i wont too ask the experts

i have owned a tasco an a simons an now a leupold scope an i can say the leupold varix2 3x9 is the finest scope i owned the leupold is more clearer than those was so i sold them an i have not seen a scope i liked beater than my leupold 3x9
now my question is my buddy swears by his millet scope an says it is beater than leupold but he wont let me look thru it because he thanks i will brake it or something an i would like too compare it too my leupold but ive never seen one so who is write i dont know which millet he got but i would like too no if it is a finer scope than my leupold
i dont no if i would actually by another scope because i like my leupold but i keep wandering if millet is the better scope an i mite save up the money to by it later if it is a finer scope more clear an more lite gathering
thank you for your advise guy's!

Buy yourself one of these and it will be better than the Leupold or the Millet.  The 3-9x 4200 is probably the best scope you can buy in its price range and better an many that cost quite a bit more.

Here you go Meathead, this is even a better deal.  If I did not already have more scopes than I need i would be all over this.

Keep the Leupold.  Don't let yer buddy look through it anymore. Tell him that you don't want him to break nothin'!! The Leupold is better than the Millet, but don't hurt his feelings. Just tell him to keep his paws off because he's a jackass! Smile             --Ed

That depends on which Millet and which Leupold.  Both companies have scope lines that compete at different price points.

Exactly.

Meat head, unless you're comparing two 180 degree different brands like, say, Zeiss and BSA, whose products are worlds apart both in quality and price point, it's usually not possible to conclusively say one brand is better than another without also including specific models when the two brands being compared have overlapping product lines.

I can appreciate your curiosity, though... and I think your friend is being a jerk, unless of course you've given him good reason to believe you're likely to break his stuff. Wink

Your friend is an a$$h0le and is just f'ing with your head. With optics, it eventually comes down to how it looks through your eyes. It sound like your very happy with your Leupold, which is a very good scope, and that's what counts so don't look back!!!

I'll go with Rifledude on this one. Your scope is good to go. Unless you have killer eyes, you cannot break a scope by looking through it.

This thread went waaaaay better than I thought it would.

No drive by shootings, alien abductions, or gross miscarriages of justice anywhere as is the norm for Millet threads.

Good going people!! Were back to DEFCON 5!!

No, I think it's a hairstyle made popular in the 1980's and early 1990's, especially by rednecks who drive old Camaros.
