I have been thinking about this for a couple of days now. I forget where I heard it, but somewhere on the news someone was complaining that MJJ is being disrespected in death by all the bashing over being an "aleged" child abuser. Can't they respect the death of a man and not "bash" him at every report... was the paraphrase of the interview.
I mean don't get me wrong, I have repeated some jokes and what-not, but I recall when Evangelist Jerry Fawell died that nut-case atheist went off on a rant about how he is "glad that he died" and such. Christopher Hutchins or something?
Anyhow, I recall the anger over his rant that Fawell "had just died" and "he shouldn't be talking like that about him, that is inappropriate".
Now I totally understand that this angry atheist Hutchins was ATTACKING Fawell because of his religious beliefs... but I am reminded of just how close reports come to doing the same thing every time they "report the facts of MJJ's death by tying in child abuse cases, etc.".
Additionally Fawell isn't the same as MJJ either. I totally understand that.
Furthermore, I am reminded of how particularly HANUS sexual abuse of a helpless child is if these allegations about MJJ were true......
....so I have started guarding my speech on this particular death. If he did abuse children in that way I am certain he is paying for those sins now... so there isn't much I can add to the Lord's judgement at this point. MJJ now knows the end of his HANUS crimes, if any, as you can't hide from paying for your sins.... save the one Gospel truth that we can all can rely on if we are only willing to follow the advice in John 3:16... but that is a story for another post.
That was available to MJJ too..... if he found the wisdom to accept it that is and not rely on "church membership" or "I am basically a good person"...
