By chance has anyone compared these two bino lines?  If you have what are their outstanding features.  Are the Meostars comparable to the Minox HG line?

I would get the Meostar because of the wider field of view. I am sure that Minox makes great binoculars. I've never looked through the HGs. The Meostar 7x42 is a great low light binocular. It would be best if you tried them yourself.

I cannot compare the Minox HG series to the Meoptas but I have owned the BD BRs in 7x42 and the 7x42 Meoptas. They each exhibit different characteristics one might find favorable in a bin. The BD BRs had a very bright, contrasty image with no color bias whatsoever. They also had excellent edge sharpness.  The Meoptas had a much wider field of view with a comparable amount of edge distortion. They have just as sharp of an image but with a noticeable, in direct comparison, warm color bias.

Physically, the Meoptas are shorter and a bit "fatter' for lack of a better word though their balance is superb and the thumb indents under the barrels help with their 30 oz weight.
