Have not looked thru one myself.  Am also contemplating getting one of these.  Everything I hear is positive.  The main issue some have is weight according to what I have read.

What would you be using it for? If low light performance is the main criteria and the zeiss does not have the #4, I would probably go with the meopta, otherwise, I'd just flip a coin.

Deer hunting. Yea Mostly in evenings. Lowlight will be a factor. Is the meopta that much better than the zeiss in lowlight?

No. IMO, "optically" they are about the same.  the #4 reticle is what makes the difference in low light.
the meopta having a 42mm objective may make a slight difference as well.

Again, IMO.. yes, for general hunting out to around 200 yards, I like the #4.

Keep in mind that reticle choice is a very personal choice, and what works for one might not work for the next.. If possible, I would recommend you look at several different options to see what you are most comfortable with.

The scope below, for low light, is worth the extra $100 in my opinion.  I absolutely love my conquest #4 reticle scope.
