I am looking at a few scopes for low light deer hunting for a Remington 7400 270. Will be used over fields and cut downs with shots 300 yards and less.
What are the differences (besides huge price variation) between the Meopta Meopro 3x9x42 with a #4 reticle and the Meostar 4x12x40 with a #4 reticle? Is one better optically than the other?
I also saw a 6x42 Artemis 2000 on the Sample List. Good price. Any info on this scope?
How will the Meopta scopes compare with my Ziess Conquest 4x32 or my Kahles CL 3x10x50 Multizero. I like both of these scopes very much and even with me being clumsy they always hold zero. Both of my Kahles scopes are fantastic; I just don't want to spend $700.
I am open to other suggestions as long as the scope can be purchased at SWFA. They are the best.
Happy Hunting!

Meostar is optically better than Meopro.
Meopro is generally competitive with the Conquest (I did a review of both a while back). Meostar is between Conquest and Kahles CL optically. ILya
