I am going to put up another ugly, beat up, Eduardo-abused rifle for sale.  This one is a magnificent, pristine Marlin 39A from 1977.  It's about 98%.

This is an Internet photo.  Mine is exactly like this.  Fold-down Buckhorn rear sights. NO Safety, NO rebounding hammer, NO checkering.  One of the old beauties from North Haven, Conn. from the seventies.     serial number 23XXXXXX.

Another Internet photo.  Mine is shiny and gleaming like this one.

There is a little blue wear along the arc of the hammer, and it used to have a scope on it and I had my gunsmith friend take it off ( and the 1/2 " scope that was on it ) and you can still see the 'outline' of where the scope base was on the top of the sand-blasted receiver.  Kind of looks like a stencil.   Otherwise this would be 100%.  Mine has the hammer spur still attached like this rifle has.  I love those hammer spurs.

This has been in a closet for 35 years.  I have had it for over a year and have never fired it!!   Bucky

Here is a photo of the typical blue wear on Marlin hammers.  Otherwise this gun looks new.  Sling swivels, sights, etc. all original.

I'm asking $400 for this feller.

Great deal there for an old lever marlin.  Love my 39A, one of the most accurate 22's I own.
