I don't think anyone here does. I'm sure there are some that do though. I use hunting scopes for hunting and Tacticals for target and tactical.

...................You can use one as a hunting scope, but I`d stick with the hunting scopes. A little too busy in the reticle dept. for a hunter scope imo.

I have a hard time understanding why people think a mildot reticle is so busy.  Its not like you can't see the cross of the lines just  quick and easy.  If anything a mildot is better because it gives you hold over points and windage hold points.   I would lots sooner have one on all my scopes, but they typically are not put on the low to mid ranged priced scopes.

I prefer the mildot reticles as well. I just prefer to not have knobs to twist. I do use an adjustable objective for the long easements that I hunt periodically. It would be nice if all scopes had the mildot option.

No but I have been using the Leupold Mark 4 Long Range Tacticals for hunting for several years.  The actual power of the 2.5-8 MRT is 3.0 to 8.7  The scope I use is the 3.5-10x40 FFP and Kenton Ind knobs. With the FFP scope your hold over points are the same at every power so for a couple of hundred more you have a scope that will do much more.

THANKS EVERYONE. I HAVE CURED MY PROBLEM. WENT DOWN TODAY TO A LOCAL GUN SHOP AND PURCHASED A VARI X III IN 2.5X8 WITH STANDARD DUPLEX. THE FIT WAS PERFECT FOR MY KIMBER MONTANA.
