A few weeks ago i went to Las Vegas and had a great time!!
The flight back to the east coast wasnt good the plane inside temperature was around 85-90,i guess the air was buggered and lot of people were coughing, ideal breeding ground for germs.

Next day i was sick, bad chest infection, eyes hurt, whole face is sore and even my teeth are painfull, bad headache, that was 10 days ago,i guess coughing up blood,green/brown chunks for jello and a high temp isnt to good either.........so now ive got to have a crap load of tests for stuff like TB,Pneumonia,Acute Bronchitis,Influenzae, TB,i was treated for Tb before,9 months for meds and no cure....wish me luck!

What happens in Vegas DOES NOT STAY IN VEGAS!

The best thing about Las Vegas is the rental car counter.  You rent a car and get the hell out of there and go somewhere NORMAL.    Bucky

I wish you luck. Last year this time I came back from Germany and picked up some germs in the plane. No.no..nooooo germs are not little Germans (ha haha ha).
Anyway, I was like you, sick as a dog for 3 weeks. I lost 12kg and looked like I came from the German concentration camps. Really, it was no jokes.
So I feel for you.

You sure inspire confidence.  Have to fly to Casper WY this weekend.  No, will not be snowmobiling, going to a wedding in the middle of tax season.  Miss a lot of work and win a chance to get sick as a dog.  Hope you get to feeling better soon and it don't last 3 weeks.  That sounded rough 8's.

I think I used to eat breakfast at the Hampton Inn.  In order to fly into Casper, you probably first have to go to Lusk and get in the back seat of a crop duster for the last leg of the journey, I believe!  Wink

Its changed a little since the "new" airport.  You fly straight to Casper but land on the plateau above the city but have to catch the mule train down into town.  Problem is the last mule train leaves for town at 6 and I won't get in till 10.  Hopefully they still have some buffalo rugs the wife and I can curl up in till morning.   The brochure said they had tepees too.

That's what I use, when I'm sick, about a cup at a time.  It seems to help some with the blood pressure a bit too.  Culturelle helps if you can not keep much down. You intestines are a large part of your imune system.  When you use Anti- biotics, you need to use more pro-biotics to help maintian balance.  Both Pro-Biotics and Anti-Boitics help fight infection.  Anti- Biotics kill off Pro-Biotics, thus us up setting the ballance.  You need the Probiotics to counter some of the negative effect of the anti biotics.  In short helps with recovery time by a couple of days and reduces severity.

Acidophilus works in the same way.  If you feel something coming on or in your case know you have to travel that or Culturelle can be used a a bit of a premitive stike.  Garlic and Cod liver oil pills help to, but you may have to take a couple extra.

A soup based on Onion, garlic, rice and some hot pepper helps.  Should be served very warm so that you get sort of a steam treatment. Chicken and Rice, Gumbo, French onion and that sort of thing help work as a sort of de-congestian.

Hot peppers help to. Use some halbenaro sause on food to help open the sinneses.  Then the Pro-Biotic yogurt to counter the pepper.  Horse Radish can help some as well for those who are not able to handle the stronger peppers.

Now see the nurse on you way out and she can make sure your insurance papers are filled out...

Glad you are still in the land of the living and hope it stays that way for awhile.  New boom stick waiting to be picked up... you ain't faken then.  Get well and hope you hear the news you want once the x-rays get back.
