The 8x56 binos are a crazy good deal, they are amazing in low light and even in the dark.  Those are not Landmarks or Fullfields, they're Signature Selects.

If you want to see what's moving around before and after legal shooting time these are the ticket.

There's a total of 2,758 skus coming so there is a good chance that some of them will still be around after you recover from Christmas.

I really wish you hadn't posted these...I've been trying to decide on a Signature Select and then I saw that Euro Diamond (1.5-6x40) and I've got to have it...just hoping they hold out for a little longer than the Christmas break (it broke my bank).

And now I can get another FFII 3x9x40 for 119.95 new...

Wow! that's a great price on both!

This has me a bit concerned about Burris. I hope Beretta didn't blow it on this fine company.

I can't imagine that being a mistake.  Not at those prices.  If only I had some money...

...now, I'm torn...

1.5-6x40 - perfect SE deer hunting scope

3-12x50 - when I sight in and practice at range - good mag for 100yards

3-12x56 - this is the one I want...love the bigger objective...great mag, just would like it to be less than a 3 power...

decisions decisions decisions...

A few of these look very tempting. The illuminated 3P#4 looks to be the ticket. The few failures mentioned around here don't bother me much either. There is nothing wrong with a non-illuminated #4 in low light.

for a range i really see no point in needing the 56, it will be bigger, bulkier, heavier, etc.  and will provide a minimal if any difference.  it might be noticible at dusk or dawn.

Really the range would be the only time i'd put a 56 on something.  I wouldn't wanna deal with the weight anywhere else.

All any of these scopes have to do is last until Jan 1st...and then I'm in on one of them...got the ok from the budget department (wife)...not that I usually listen to her anyway on my gun/hunting stuff, but it is so close to Christmas I didn't want to be a moron...

With that said...I am torn...the 1.5-6x40 is perfect for hunting in the Southeast...it will be a little harder to sight in at 100 yards at the range (not impossible, just harder). The price is perfect and closer to what I have to spend.

The 3-12x50 is a great scope and I like the mag range for the range...and it affords me some longer shots, however, how many shots have I had over 100 yards in South Carolina where I hunt? Zero!

The 56...big ole objective, weight doesn't bother me and I can really have a great big ole sight pic at the range as well as in the field...perhaps a better low light scope...I just don't know.

Wish I could go look through all 3 and make my decision...

Which would you guys buy and why?

not sure if it was intended or not but the way i read it implys larger objective = larger field of view.  it will actually be identical to the others so the larger objective has no effect on FOV, only on light.

Also, instead of making a new topic i'll ask here,  how do the $350 Euro Diamond compare to the Zeiss Conquest?  I always told myself if i spend near $400 its gonna be on a zeiss.  But it states these are $700+ scopes.  I was considering this one.  http://swfa.com/Burris-3-12x50-Euro-Diamond-30mm-Rifle-Scope-P48186.aspx  how does the glass compare?
