... can't even get close to yours ... the exact day only

The Avianca Airline flight bound for Quito, Equador crashed , dropped a flaming mass of metal, into a ravine . None of the passengers in the DC-4 ever knew what happened; they died instantly.

One of the greatest men ever was born to a country family in the hills of Maryland . A true
saint and patriot ... a man among men ... handsome and daring . Loved and cherished by all including all his peers . Women have been known to faint when he enters a room .

Yes.  I was in the first draft lottery that they initiated back in 1969.  I was a sophomore in college and my Birthday number was 236.  So, I dropped out of school, got re-classified, and took my chances with the draft with a very high number.  If they didn't draft me by December 31, 1970---I was out of the draft---permanently.  Well, they didn't draft me and I didn't volunteer.  After New Year's 1971, I got re-classified as 1Y.

I knew plenty of guys who went to Vietnam.  Lots of them didn't come back.  What a hell of a war.  We certainly didn't go in there to win....what a waste of young men.

Now we go to war to win......but the Washington think tank never bothered to come up with a plan to GET OUT after we kicked ass.....again, what a waste of young men!!

Yea ... we won in Iraq ... but still there fighting the kind of battles we are not trained for . Just sitting ducks playing baby sitters again to people who hate us . When he sent them in I said " they better have the WMD's and he better get em out and not have another Nam " ..... I think this idiot is worse than Johnson .... at least Johnson would'nt run again after slaughtering boys for years ... and that clown Cheney ..... Cussing a news reporter told him " the american people don't want their boys getting killed for nothing anymore "  / live interview / he said I quote " SO " !
