Hey guys

Thanks for your comments recently (helping me choose between a conquest, meostar or IOR). I made a choice and bought it second hand (but basically brand new) from a guy through a hunting forum back home. The scope is now winging it's way to my family's home in Auckland, where it will sit until I get back to NZ in November and mount it on my sako 270 (soon to be rebarreled to 280 Rem).

First attempt at posting pictures, so bare with me... (pictured on a sako 75 in 7mm08):

Cheers

Laurie

Nice set-up. Especially like the 75. Well done sir!
If we're not suppose to eat animals...how come they're made of meat?

Cheaptrick - not sure about the optilocs - the picture is the original owner's rifle. He did say that he thought the rings were a tad too high, so I'm thinking they are at least the medium height optilocs (as I think 'low' would definitely handle the 42mm objective)?

I like the wood/stainless look of his mod 75, but my sako is the previous model (L691) wood blued. I've now got to choose some 30mm mounts - perhaps some warne or some optilocs - any suggestions?

Cheers

For do-it-yourself I really like the Warne stuff.  They make a nifty little torque wrentch that is set-up to their specs......... takes all the quess work out of it!
take em!
