Just bought a M-308 Nikoplex for my AR-10 (.308).  Went to sight it in and windage was fine but elevation was the problem.  It seems I'm still 3" high and cannot turn elevation down any further. Checked the mount (came with the Scope) and all is good. I can't seem to understand since this scope is suppposedly manufactured for this weapon.

Any suggestions?

The rail provided is a 20 mil rail. Have you checked if it is mounted backwards?

Yup, just as I suspected. The scope is packaged with a 20 MOA mount, and only has 40 MOA of internal elevation. Your best bet would be to sell the 20 minute mount, and buy a flat one.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
