I recently bought an M1 carbine made for Thompson by Kahr Arms and I want to install a scope on it. I have no idea what type of mount it takes or what would be the best scope for target shooting. I always wanted one since I qualified in the Air Force but now that I have it I have trouble hitting the target, my right eye needs help. I am thinking of putting a 3x9x40 TV recticle. I don't know what will standup to the recoil, not too much, alittle more than an M16 though. Haven't found any mount bases yet either because I don't know which ones will fit and which ones won't. Can someone guide me as to what mount to get, where to get it, and what scope will hold up to the 30 caliber carbine?? Any help would be very appreciated.

How much you looking to spend on a scope? Could go all day with some options.

Look at the Super Sniper line in the mean time.
