Luger Optics are overpriced and there is a large number on counterfiet ones

that say germany but they are really made in China. The real Luger Optics

are german but not at the same level ofthe name brands.

Hello javali tasco does not make any scopes they contract alot of different companies and then

put thier name on the scopes. The real Luger is made in germany and to my knowledge has no

partnership with tasco. I know that alot of counterfiet scopes made in china use the tasco and many

more names in thier fraud schemes in order to mislead the buyer. This happens alot overseas and

there is a large number on conterfiet scopes making thier way into the US each day. Javali

do you have any more knowledge to add or have you owned a luger and could describe its markings

and where it was made? The best example of a luger I saw said made in germany but did not have the

quality of the other name brand german scopes.

The information that i have about Luger rifle scopes is based on a information of a great european dealer named Kettner. This firm sells Luger products.

They told me that Luger do not have any kind of optics is only a brand.Tasco and Luger are the same product.

I saw also rifles named Luger that are in reality rifles Zastava.

Regards

Hello SVD666

Those rifles scopes are on the 2005/2006 Kettner catalog.

The price of the Pro-Na 3-12x56 with IR is 760 Euros, but for exemple the STD 3-9x40 is 130 Euros. On this catalog we can see a Luger LG 4x15 with mounts for 20 Euros. I am sure that this is not a made in Germany scope.

Yes, the logo is Luger, but are you sure that it said made in Germany?

Anyway, the information that i have was given by Kettner in Portugal.

Best regards

Jonbravado,

I hadn't heard of Luger scopes until today when I looked thru one of thier binos. Wow! They were great. If their rifle scopes are anything like thier binos, they would be a great value. Here is the factory website address. They provide information in several different languages.

Hope this helps.

I just herad back fom my friend he confirmed his luger says made in Germany

like I had remembered, quality wise I remember his scope bieng not at the level

of the euro name brands. Thanks for the link Optikmistake and welcome to the OT.

I see that the Luger service center is in Germany on that website. Do you have any

additional info to add Optikmistake, and what are you currently using?
