I recently bought a VX-III 3.5-10x40 and was wondering what my options are with this scope. My background and family have been very simplistic in the past with the "Sight the gun in, practice enough, and know where it hits". I was just curious if I could get some turrets for this model of scope and what would the benifits be? I'm shooting a T/C encore pro hunter with a 204 barrell at the time, and the scope has a duplex recticle. Just looking for things I can add on to increase my accuracy at futher ranges.

I would look here first. I'm considering these for several scopes right now.

I'd call the custom shop. I would think about a differant reticule. Set up some written goals of what you think you want or need first.

Kenton's knobs will be $79.99 or $89.99 if you decide to go that route.

$129 from Leupold. $89 from Kenton. But REMEMBER if getting Kenton knobs that your scope must first be equipped with tall knobs from Leupold anyway. The Kenton's don't work on just everything. Send your piece to the Leupold Custom Shop for M1's. You have a good scope; it's worth it. Later, if you'd like a set from Kenton then you'll be good to go.
