I have a Weaver CE 1.5-4.5 and a TR24-3G, so these are my reference point. I feel that the lines of the Trijicon is relatively thick over the duplex lines of the WCE.
I need another low powered scope, possible with better higher mag over the two above. My application is paper punching and steel banging with ARs at 3-300meter distances, with a few tries at 450m distance. I have limited my budget to at most $700.00, so those nice SB 1-6, IOR or USOs are out of the question. I preference compact and straight tube but 30mm, plus capped turrets. I have checked out the specs of Nikon 223, Leupold AR, and Burris; and I'm still trying to determine if Weaver Super Slam could also fill in.
