Hey guys Found this forum on RFC and thought I would give it a try.
I need help selecting a mount set up for my Ar-15 Flat top.
I plan to mount a Nikon 3x9x40mm scope (3.6/3.7 inch eye relief)
What do I need to mount it?
Do I need a riser?
What height rings?
Does the riser need to extend past the receiver rails?
Thx for any info.

I used these to mount a bushnell 4200 3-9x on an AR and they are perfect for it. Nothing else needed.

Over tightened screws are the worst enemy of scopes. most only require 16-20 inch lbs. of torque. Welcome to the OT.

Warne recommends 25 for their rings. and if you get one of these you have no worries.

Or was that just me? It let me take one out? Did you have to put two in the cart to get you two rings or just one in the cart?

Not to be critical (seeing as how I'm the new guy and all!) but that sort of seems counter-intuitive doesnt it? I mean, being new and all is the time when I most need to be able to edit my posts so I dont looook like such a dork toyou guyys with mpspelling and typoing skills!!!!
