Working at an airport kinda sucks, but it does have some perks (and NO, cheap air fare aint one of them), like seeing all kinds of cool airplanes. I have compiled some recent photos that I have taken from aircraft here for Blunder Over Looneyville's airshow, to aircraft I caught for the recent photo contest here. I hope I can get them to post, and I hope you enjoy them after I cut the down. The originals are really cool but they won't post.

Oh that was one of 2 Harriers that came in for the show. They sent 2 in case one broke down. Wonder why Marine pilots call it the Widow Maker? Here's the other one.

A C-17, but I don't remember if it was here for the show or on a mission to the Air Guard.
Another plane that was here the day I had a camera, and I don't know if it was in the show or not.

A F-86 that was in the show. The T-33/F-80 was there too.

Parked aircraft. Even the airport police have to escorted by the Air Guard while on their ramp.

Well........., I'm unable to post anymore photos right now, but I've got some really good shots of a couple of F-18s that were just passing through.

Note the center line tank in the photo and the small propeller or fins on the nose.

And a rear shot. I got a face full of jet exhaust just after I took it.

This is the one I got the last week of May.

I have some more, but I need to resize them before I can post them.

Cool!

First pics are of the F/A-18E Super Hornet (note square engine intake).

Last pic is of the F/A-18D Hornet (round intake with air flow fin on top of wing LERX).

Man, thanks for sharing, BF!

I love those old planes. I'm partial to the old F-86 Super Sabre too.
