Sorry I dont have one but the Big Sky rates very favorably with the guys that have them.  The SIII scopes are reported to have the best glass coming out of Japan and the big plus is that you get tactical / target knobs so I'd buy the SIII.

Urimaginaryfrnd is right to recommend these. I thought of recommending those but in fireroad's O.P. he was looking for more magnification. Personally, I would (and did) consider the 3.5-10 mil-dot because I'd rather have less magnification on the low end and don't need more than 10 on the high end. The 2.5-10X32 NF that I ended up with is, IMO, the perfect complement to a .308, especially one with a 20" barrel. As long as we're talking lower magnification, however, fireroad, have you checked out the SS 3-9x42? If that had been available when I made my purchase decision I probably would have saved the dough. 9X with good glass is enough to me to get out to 500 yards comfortably. (I shoot at 10X out to 600).

Ended up going with the Big Sky SII 4.5-14x44 Side Focus mil-dot.  First impressions are"wow, that is some darn clear glass". Can't wait till my 6500 Tactical comes in to compare the two, but the Big Sky is going to be pretty hard to beat. As soon as Sightron offers a rebate on the SIII 3.5-10x44mm that baby is mine!

Fireroad, I am glad you are enjoying S2 Big Sky.  I thought it was a very well configured scope when I first looked at it.  Let me know how it holds up.

Steelbenz, what did you put your 6500 on?  How about a picture?
