looking for a red dot for my bfr 45/70

i am aiming at the aimpoint 9000L 2x power.
am i right in assuming the longer aimpoint will be more accurate than the shorter one?
is there a trade off in sight acquisition?
id like the smallest dot possible but the 2 moa one comes with rings for the same price, which id gladly get a 2 moa over the
1 moa for that.
that is unless the rings are garbage. im sure they are aluminum which ive never been fond of in a scope ring.
does anyone have any experience with this sight or the rings included?
