Hi,...I'm a newbee,.........I need some schoolin on witch is the lightweight fixed scope.......I'm buyin a superlight rifle,and need to put a scope on it.......could you guys help me in pickin one out??????????.thanks,alot,.......

It would be helpful if you could provide some more information.

What caliber? what rifle? What is the rifle going to be used for? How light is it? is it going to be a kicker? how much money are you willing to spend? are you looking for a particular magnification range? does it matter to you if it is a fixed magnification scope or a variable?

If you are very concerned on shaving ounces, the Leupold fixed and variables tend to be the lightest scopes in their class. They have a well earned reputation for durability and a great warranty. However, by comparison, there are an awful lot of scopes out there that offer better optical performance than Leupold for less money. I think you have to answer some of koshkin's questions before we can give you specific recommendations.
