I broke down and bought a Centerpoint sniper crossbow. It supposedly shoots 370 FPS.

Well long story short, I goofed up the range values in the scope and missed a deer with it. And could not tell from the shot. Added lighted nock and its way better.

I was watching the deer thinking, ok, its going to fall over anytime now. NOPE!! Shot under it.

Took it home, thought, well maybe the broadhead caused an issue. Nope. Shot it with broadhead and lighted nock, its where it needs to be.

I tried lighten Nocs one year flung one at a huge buck aparently hit a small branch in low light and the noc either turned off when it hit the branch or when it hit the ground. I never recovered that arrow. Now I use a reflective tape on the arrow itself. You can shine a flashlight across the field and that arrow will pop out like a laser. Usually have to special order it in but you could use the same type reflective material that 18 wheelers have on them.
