Ive got a Tikka T3x lite, in a Manners EHT. Looking at the Swarovski z5 2.4-12x50 with the BRH ret and the Vortex Razor LH 2-10x40 with the G4 ret.If anybody has one of these or has any experience with either one I’d love to hear you guys opinions on them.
Thx

I don't have experience with either of those two specific scopes, but I do own several Swarovski scopes from different series (Z3, AV, PH, PV, Z6i) having 3X, 4X, and 6X zoom ratios, both discontinued and current, as well as a Vortex Razor HD LH 1.5-8X32 with the G4 reticle. Both are very nice, and overall I've been very pleased, although I did have a Swaro 3-10X42 AV that failed to maintain zero and had to send it back for repair. Other than that example, I've had no issues with Swarovski. My favorite Swarovski scope for a lightweight rifle is the Z3 3-9X36. It's a great little no frills scope.
In general, I have to say I've not been a fan of Vortex scopes, though I've been pleased with everything I've used wearing the "Razor" name. The Razor HD LH scopes are very good hunting scopes, and I absolutely love the G4 reticle. I seem to be in the minority, but I much prefer the 1.5-8X32 over the 2-10X42 due to its compactness and slightly lighter weight. I've never found having "only" 8X max magnification to be limiting for normal hunting at typical hunting shot distance. I believe that scope will soon be discontinued though. In fact, my two lightest hunting rifles wear a Swarovski Z3 2-9X36 and a Vortex Razor HD LH 1.5-8X32, respectively. For my tastes, they are as perfect as lightweight hunting scopes get. For big game hunting, I tend to gravitate toward compact to moderately sized mid-range variables at no more than 10X on the upper end. These scopes do everything I need done in an all-around big game hunting scope for spitting distance to around 400 yd shots, and I've never felt handicapped by "not enough magnification."

Both are very good options. Z5 with its 50mm objective will be a better low light scope, while Razor HD LH is definitely a better bang for the buck, especially at current prices.
I had the 2-10x40 Razor and thought it was optically equal to the 3-10x42 Swaro, while having a broader mag range. I gave that scope to my brother's friend, who seems to like it quite a bit. As far as the reticle goes, I obviously prefer the G4 BDC. However, I am in the minority since they are discontinuing it in the US (it will still be available in Europe). I have seen 2-10x40 HD LH with G4 reticle for as little as $500 recently, which is a raging bargain. ILya

Thanks for the input guys. I’m going to a Gun Show later today.
It’s a pretty decent shoe usually and often has competitive prices, I’ll try and look at both models. VX-5 2-10 would be another one I’d think that would fit the bill weight/magnification wise. Ant thoughts on the VX-5 compared to the two above?🤠

I have the vx-5. I like it a lot. Its a good choice especially if u get firedot and the zl2 dial. Being able to dial in elevation adjustments is great. I had mine on my tikka 6.5 creed and could dial to 1300 yards with it.
I also have the swaro z3 3-9x and its a great light weight scope but is just set and forget, so quit different than the vx5 with the zl2

How would you rate the eyebox on the Razor 2-10? To me that is the first thing I look at when buying a scope... I want it to be fast and easy to get a proper sight picture. I like the little Swaro but if you think the glass is similar the eyebox would be the decider. Also I agree with you on the G4 ret.

HD LH is a very easy scope to get behind. It is quite forgiving of eye position.
